The Boise Hawks used 15 hits to blow out the Eugene Emeralds last night 12-1 in the opener of a three-game series in Idaho.  The Ems had eight hits of their own, but left 9 base runners stranded.

Newly added prospect Donovan Tate was two-for-four at the plate.  Game two is tonight.
