Game time is set for Siuslaw’s First Round volleyball playoff Match Saturday against the La Grande Tigers… The first serve is set for one o’clock at La Grande High School. The winner will advance to the OSAA 4A volleyball tournament at Lane Community College in Eugene November 8th and 9th.
The Viking Boys Cross Country Team will hit the circuit Saturday morning in Eugene for an attempt at their third straight state championship. The girls team will also be in competition.
Both won the Far West District titles last week at Tugman State Park. The OSAA championship will be run at Lane Community College in Eugene.
The Sweet Home Huskies and the Siuslaw Vikings will meet on the gridiron tomorrow night at Hans Peterson Field in the play in round of the OSAA football playoffs. Gates open at six… kickoff at seven. KCST’s Viking Hour cast, in cooperation with Bi-Mart, will be handing out rally towels and t-shirts to the first 250 people through the gate.
