UNDATED (AP) – Marcus Mariota insists his left knee isn’t a concern and that he’ll be ready to go Saturday when No. 6 Oregon hosts Utah. Pressed whether he is 100 percent, Mariota said he couldn’t say.
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Multnomah County records show that former Portland Trail Blazer Rasheed Wallace owes more than $150,000 in property taxes on a 9,000-square-foot house he owns in southwest Portland. Wallace is now an assistant coach with the Detroit Pistons who were at the Moda Center on Monday and lost to Portland 109-103. KATU reports Wallace refused to acknowledge a reporter who tried to question him about the taxes.
PHOENIX (AP) -Two men are being held with bail set at $1 million apiece in the beating death of a 17-year-old national champion boxer from Phoenix. Police say Alexis Urbina was found unconscious in his family’s south Phoenix home Sept. 3 and died two days later.
