EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Joseph Young scored 20 points and No. 17 Oregon used a strong second half beat Utah Valley 69-54 on Tuesday night. Johnathan Loyd had 12 points for the Ducks, who scored 16 straight midway through the second half to turn a four-point game into a 20-point lead.

UNDATED (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks moved back on top of the AP Pro32 power rankings, edging out Denver despite the Broncos’ victory over previously unbeaten Kansas City. The Seahawks were second a week ago. Now, they’ve received 379 points and seven first-place votes from the 12-member panel that regularly covers the league. Kansas City dropped to third, followed by New Orleans and Carolina.

CHENEY, Wash. (AP) — Martin Seiferth scored 24 points and grabbed 18 rebounds on Tuesday and Eastern Washington cruised to an 82-44 win over winless Walla Walla University. Eastern Washington opened the game with an 11-point run and never looked back. ,

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Anthony Drmic scored 23 of his 25 points in the second half as Boise State posted an 86-68 victory over Seattle on Tuesday night. Jeff Elorriaga scored 21 points and made five 3-point baskets and Mikey Thompson added 16 points and five steals for the Broncos (3-0).
