Vikings and Beavers return to the court
After a week of school closures and sports cancellations in the Valley the Siuslaw Viking basketball schedule for this weekend has been reset.
The Vikings, boys and girls, will face the Falcons this evening in Elmira. The boys tip off at 5:30… the girls at seven. Siuslaw will be on the court again tomorrow but they don’t know yet just where or who they’ll be playing.
Another try at starting the wrestling season
The Viking Matmen are hoping to get their season started off tomorrow in Springfield for an invitational tournament.
College Basketball
There are a couple of college basketball games this weekend… the Oregon State Men will make up their game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff this evening at 5:00 in the first game of a men’s and women’s double bill. Airtime on KCFM is at 4:30. The Beavers will host Maryland Eastern Shore Sunday at three. Mike Parker and the pregame show go on the air at 2:30.
Oregon will be at Portland’s Moda Center tomorrow night against Illinois at six. The pregame show on KCST is set for 5:30.
