Here is the latest Washington, Oregon and Alaska sports news from The Associated Press

CLEVELAND (AP) – Damian Lillard made a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds remaining, lifting the Portland Trail Blazers to a 119-116 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers last night. Lillard had a career-high eight 3-pointers while scoring 36 points. The 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year also had a fadeaway jumper as time expired to give Portland a 111-109 overtime victory over Detroit on Sunday.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – Joseph Young scored 18 points, Mike Moser added 15 and No. 13 Oregon improved to 10-0 for the first time since 2006-07 with a 91-63 victory over UC Irvine last night. The Ducks made six of their first seven 3-pointers and led 28-12 after Young hit a 3 with about nine minutes left in the first half. The game was never in question in the second half as the margin ballooned past 30.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) – C.J. Wilcox scored 15 points to lead four players in double figures and Washington overcame an overall sloppy performance to escape with a 73-62 win at Tulane last night. Balance, and better than 50 percent shooting until late, made the difference for the Huskies (6-4).

Despite battling foul problems and turnovers, UW shot 56 percent.

SEATTLE (AP) – Left-handed pitcher Charlie Furbush and the Seattle Mariners have agreed to a contract for next season and avoided a potential dispute over arbitration eligibility. The Mariners announced the deal yesterday. Instead of waiting to see if Furbush would become eligible for arbitration, the sides reached a one-year deal.
