Viking Grappler Named Athlete of the Week
Siuslaw wrestling standout Kainan Lane is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The 220-pound freshman won both his Far West League dual-meet matches last week, including a “come-from-behind” victory in the final seconds over an opponent from Marshfield High School.
Honorable Mention is given to Viking basketball standout John Dodson who had a career and season high 22 points last week against Marshfield.
