Mountain West League

On the court last night… the Mapleton Sailors fell to Triangle Lake in a pair of Mountain West games.  In the boys’ game, Jack Hardisty led the Sailors with eight points, but the Lakers came out on top 68 -33.  In the girls’ game it was T-Lake over the Lady Sailors 68 – 11.

2A Basketball

In Gold Beach, the Panthers downed the Reedsport Braves 56-40 in a boys matchup; For the girls, the Lady Braves earned a forfeit win over Gold Beach.

Far West League

Siuslaw had last night off, but there were three games in the Far West.  For the boys, Marshfield got by Sutherlin 55- 51 and North Bend edged Brookings-Harbor 74 – 65 and the Pirates and Bulldogs share the top of the standings with matching 4-1 records.  South Umpqua downed Douglas 56 – 43.

In the Far West Girls the Sutherlin Bulldogs remain undefeated following a 53 – 22 pasting of Marshfield.  Brookings-Harbor rolled over North Bend 71 – 34; and South Umpqua battled Douglas for a 53 – 47 victory.

Pac 12 Hoops

On the college basketball court the Oregon State Beavers are in the Palouse this evening… they’ll take on Washington State at seven.  Airtime on KCFM is set for 6:30.

Oregon will be in Seattle tomorrow where they’ll take on Washington.
