Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
Connor Qualley pitched a complete game Friday, giving up only four hits and striking out 12; and the Three Rivers Sandblasters fought from behind late in the game for a 4-2 win over the Gerding Builders of Corvallis.
Yesteday afternoon, the ‘Blasters hosted the Canyon Crushers. The Crushers came out on top 8-6. Sandblasters catcher Zach Inskeep was three-for-four at the plate and threw out both stolen base attempts. The two teams meet again this afternoon in Florence at one for a non-league matchup. In the Northwest League, the Boise Hawks took two out of three weekend games from the Eugene Emeralds. The Hawks won Friday night 5-3; the Ems came out on top Saturday 5-2; then the Hawks took the rubber match yesterday 6-2.
The Emeralds are in Vancouver, BC this evening where they’ll take on the Canadians in the first of five.
