Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
An all night bus ride from Boise got the Emeralds back into Eugene at eight yesterday morning. They were able to rest during the day, then got a little more rest when a rain delay pushed back the start time of last night’s game against Salem-Keizer by 40 minutes.
The Volcanoes were able to pull ahead in the seventh inning, then hold on for a 2-1 Northwest League victory at PK Park.
The two teams meet again this evening for game two of three in Eugene.
