Viking Volleyball Recognized by Far West Coaches
Seven members of the Siuslaw Volleyball team earned the attention of Far West League coaches for their play on the court this past season.
Sophomores Elyssa Rose and Hannah Bartlett were both named to the First Team “All-Far-West” squad. Halee Richards, a senior, earned second team honors, as did junior Libero Ali Scheer.
Three Vikings were given honorable mention… Senior Trista Lane and Sophomores Brittany Long and Hannahleah Jakobsen.
League champion Marshfield dominated the list with Hailee Woolsey earning MVP honors; Tammy Montiel was named coach of the year.
