Athlete of the Week

Siuslaw basketball standout Destinie Tatum is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. Capping a season of consistent performance, the Viking sophomore was named to the 2nd team All-Far West league team. Honorable mention is given to Mikaela Siegel. She picked up Honorable Mention in the all-league list and was also named to the “All-Defensive” team for the girls.

College Baseball

On the schedule… Oregon Baseball will host San Francisco for the first of two games this afternoon at PK Park. Game two of the series is tomorrow. Oregon State will host the Portland Pilots.

Pac-12 Men’s Tournament

The matchups in the men’s Pac-12 basketball tournament are set. Number seven seed Oregon State will take on ten seed Colorado tomorrow at six. The winner of that game will face number two seed Oregon Thursday, also at six. 9-seed Washington State will face 8th seeded Cal tomorrow at noon; #12 seed USC will face #5 seed Arizona State at 2:30; 11th seeded Washington will take on sixth seeded Stanford at 8:30.
