Ducks down Redhawks
Four Oregon pitchers combined to throw a one-hitter and the Ducks snapped a four-game losing streak with a 4-nothing win over the Seattle Redhawks yesterday in Hillsboro. Freshman Jacob Corn improved to three-and-oh on the season after giving up a leadoff single in the first inning. Corn pitched around five walks over 5 2/3 innings. The Ducks have today off. They’ll open a non-conference three-game series against Michigan State at home beginning tomorrow.
Oregon State baseball is on the road today in Los Angeles where the Beavers begin a three-day Pac-12 series against UCLA. Tonight’s game starts at seven; it will air on KCFM.
Prep baseball today… Siuslaw will host Sutherlin for a non-league game in Florence at 4:30… the pregame show on KCST is at 4:15.
