PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police say three young people have been wounded by gunfire at a street fair in northeast Portland. Those injured last night include two 15-year-old boys and a 25-year-old woman. Police say their injuries are not life-threatening. Sgt. Pete Simpson says it’s unclear if all three were intended targets.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Only 24 percent of Oregon community college students reviewed in a state audit received an associate’s degree or certificate within seven years. The Oregonian reports the audit didn’t break out completion rates for individual community colleges. The state has 17 community colleges.

INDEPENDENCE, Ore. (AP) – Police have arrested a man for several burglaries in western Oregon after finding more than 300 stolen items in his home. KGW-TV reports that after obtaining a warrant, they found firearms, weapons, drugs and vehicles, much of which was stolen from Independence, Monmouth, Dallas and Polk County.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Ally Carda pitched a complete game to help UCLA defeat Oregon 7-1 last night in the Women’s College World Series. The seventh-seeded Bruins will play Michigan today. No. 2 seed Oregon will play Alabama tomorrow in an elimination game.
