Hawks stop Eugene
The Hawks scored all five runs in the third inning last night for a 5-4 victory over the Emeralds in Boise. The loss ended Eugene’s win streak at three, dropping them to 11-and-9 in the second half of the Northwest League season; 28-and-30 overall. The Ems are two games out of first place behind Hillsboro.
The Ems and the Hawks meet again tonight in Boise.
Reser to host Family Fun Day
The Oregon State Beavers will scrimmage in front of fans Saturday in Corvallis as part of Family Fun Day. Beaver fans can get a look at the three quarterbacks; Marcus McMaryion, Seth Collins and Nick Mitchell; vying for the starting signal calling slot beginning at 11:15.
Family Fun Day, featuring a variety of activities will follow at one in Reser Stadium.
