HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) – A firearms instructor who was seriously injured when he was hit by shrapnel during a training session in Washington County is facing criminal allegations in the incident. The Oregonian reports the sheriff’s office says Scott Turner of Scio is accused of recklessly endangering another person. TURNER, Ore. (AP) – Oregon vineyard owners are predicting a massive grape harvest after months of hot, dry weather. KATU-TV reports that owner Bill Fuller says vines that typically produce between 2 and 3 tons of grapes per acre could yield an extra ton per acre. Fuller worries these last few weeks will bring a downpour which could break the whole process. If the grapes become much larger, they will split.
