Siuslaw Senior recognized for his work in the ‘trenches’
Siuslaw football standout Dylan Jennings is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The Senior lineman was selected by coaches to the First Team Offensive Line and Second Team Defensive Line All-Far West League team earlier this month.
Honorable mention is given to volleyball standout Ali Scheer. She was named 2nd Team Libero by Far West Volleyball Coaches.
Turning to the court last night…
Chris Boucher and Elgin Cook each scored 15 points to lead number 25 Oregon to a 74-67 victory over Baylor. Oregon, which had entered the top 25 yesterday morning, improved to 2-0 on the season… they’ll host Savannah State Friday night.
Oregon State is on the court tonight. The Beavers will host Iona at seven… the pregame show on KCFM is at 6:30.
