TAKING A LOOK INTO COAST RADIO SPORTS:
The 119th civil war kicks off this afternoon. Yesterday, Oregon’s Vernon Adams Jr. is grateful the Number 18 Ducks are on track to finish strong after a senior season of ups and downs. The quarterback transfer from Eastern Washington will play in his final home game at Autzen Stadium when Oregon hosts Oregon State in this afternoon’s Civil War game. Airtime on KCST is 11:30am, 12 noon on KCFM. Kick off at Autzen Stadium is set for 1 o’clock in Eugene.
The focus this weekend for many college sports’ enthusiast is the end of the regular football season, many are into the college basketball season. Neither the Ducks or the Beavers are on the hardwood this weekend. Next up for Oregon is non-conference action against Fresno State’s Bulldogs Monday night… Oregon State is off the hardwood until Wednesday, December 2nd when they take on Loyola Marymount.
