SALT LAKE CITY (AP) – Trey Burke scored a season-high 27 points, and the Utah Jazz cruised past the Portland Trail Blazers 109-96 last night. Burke connected on 12 of 19 shots, and Gordon Hayward had 23 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. Rodney Hood finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Utah had dropped three of four. The Blazers are 2-3 in their last five games.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – Tim Derksen had 22 of his career-high 27 points in the second half and San Francisco rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to beat Portland 107-95 last night. Devin Watson added 22 points and seven assists for the Dons. Alec Wintering had 23 of his 31 points in the first half for Portland. Jazz Johnson scored a career-high 22.

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) – Jordan Wilson made 10 of 11 shots for a career-high 26 points and Northern Colorado opened Big Sky Conference play with a 96-90 win over Eastern Washington last night. Wilson made all three of his 3-point attempts and handed out seven assists. He reached double-digit scoring for the Bears (4-9) in all 13 games this season. Felix Von Hofe had 27 points for Eastern Washington.

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) – Gonzaga center Przemek Karnowski will miss the rest of the season after undergoing back surgery. The 7-foot-1 center has been out since Nov. 27 due to a bulging disc and has missed six games. He averaged 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in five games.
