Oregon over Utah
Oregon’s Dillon Brooks led with 23 points and eight rebounds while Casey Benson scored a career high 15 points to power the Ducks past Utah, 77-59 last night in Salt Lake City.
The Ducks never trailed and picked up their third conference victory after dropping their league opener January 3rd against Oregon State.
Oregon will be in Colorado Sunday afternoon where they’ll tip off against the Buffaloes at four… airtime on KCST is at 3:30.
Oregon State will be in Salt Lake City Sunday evening against Utah at 5:30. The pregame show on KCFM is at five.
Prep Basketball tonight…
The Siuslaw Vikings open Far West League play on the road against the South Umpqua Lancers. The girls go at six with the boys immediately following. Both games will air on Coast Radio Sports with the pregame show getting under way at 5:45.
The Mapleton Sailors are in Lowell this evening for Mountain West League play against the Devils.

Competition begins at 9:30 at Siuslaw High School for the Nick Lutz Memorial Wrestling Invitational. Championship matches will likely begin later in the afternoon.
