Viking basketball standout Trent Reavis is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The sophomore post scored a season high 18 points against the Douglas Trojans, then led all scorers with 15 against North Bend.
Honorable mention goes to Mapleton’s Hannah Rodet. She received Honorable Mention from Mountain West League basketball coaches last week in All-League balloting.
College Baseball
Oregon State wrapped up a long opening weekend of baseball with a 10-2 victory over Utah yesterday in Surprise, Arizona. The Beavers went three-and-one in their first four games. They’ll be back in Surprise beginning Thursday for another go-round.
