PROVO, Utah (AP) – Kyle Collinsworth had his fifth triple-double of the season, increasing his NCAA career record to 11, and six players scored in double figures as BYU rolled to a 99-81 win over Portland last night. Collinsworth had 14 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high 16 assists, for the Cougars, who had their fifth-straight win. Chase Fisher had 21 points, Nick Emery 18 and reserve Jordan Chatman had a career-high 13.
SAN DIEGO (AP) – Silas Melson scored a career-high 18 points, Domantas Sabonis had 17 points and 17 rebounds and Gonzaga beat San Diego 82-60 last night. Gonzaga closes the season at BYU tomorrow night with an opportunity to earn at least a share of the conference title. Olin Carter III had 13 points to lead the Toreros.
PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) – Borislava Hristova scored 17 points, Maria Kostourkova and Dawnyelle Awa added 12 each and Washington State cruised past Colorado 83-70 last night, leading from beginning to end. The Cougars shot 29 for 55, finishing above 50 percent for the third time this season and had five players score in double figures.
SEATTLE (AP) – Kelsey Plum scored 26 points, hitting 11 of 12 from the free-throw line, to lead Washington past Utah 73-60 last night. Talia Walton added 20 points and Chantel Osahor had 18 to go with 14 rebounds for Washington. Plum reached 750 points for the season, breaking her own single-season school record of 746 on a pair of three throws in the fourth quarter.
