DENVER (AP) — Gonzaga is moving on in the NCAA Tournament after pulling away from Seton Hall for a 68-52 victory Thursday night behind 21 points and 16 rebounds from Domantas Sabonis. Kyle Wiltjer added 13 for the Bulldogs (27-7), who will play Utah on Saturday for a trip to the Sweet 16.

MESA, Ariz. (AP) — Robinson Cano belted a single that didn’t count and followed with a two-run homer in the Seattle Mariners’ 11-11 tie with the Oakland Athletics on Thursday. Cano and home plate umpire Dana DeMuth were both asking for time in the fourth inning when starter Kendall Graveman followed through with a pitch.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge each had 22 points and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Portland Trail Blazers 118-110 Thursday night to secure the second-best home start to a season in league history. The Spurs have won 34 straight at home to open the season and only trail the 37 wins by the Chicago Bulls during their historic 72-victory season in 1995-96.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks have added depth at running back by re-signing Christine Michael after he had a strong performance at the end of last season. Seattle announced the signing Thursday.

DENVER (AP) — The Denver Broncos continued bolstering their offensive line on Thursday when they agreed to a five-year contract with former Seattle Seahawks tackle Russell Okung. Selected by Seattle with the sixth pick in the 2010 draft out of Oklahoma State, Okung started 72 regular-season games and a dozen playoff contests for the Seahawks over the last six seasons. He was a Pro Bowler in 2012.
