De Jong received a yellow card from referee Allen Chapman during the April 10th match, and the league last week suspended de Jong for three games.
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — There will be little margin for error for Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff and former Seahawks assistant Dan Quinn in next week’s NFL draft. The Falcons will enter the draft with only five draft picks, tied with the Rams for fewest in the league. The Falcons have picks in the first four rounds, including Number 17 overall. After that, they won’t pick again until the seventh round.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Forward Ray Kasongo is leaving the Tennessee men’s basketball team after one season. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 6.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game in 2014 to 2015 at College of Southern Idaho. Although he is from Canada, Kasongo graduated from Pikeville High School in Kentucky and attended prep school at Phase 1 Academy in Phoenix, Arizona.
