It was a long afternoon for the Viking boys in North Bend last night against the Marshfield Pirates, but a productive one as they came out on top 15 to 10. The game was filled with errors for both teams which led to most of the scoring including a plethora of hit batsmen. Ken Thrall went 3 for 5 for the Vikings scoring three times with one RBI. All but one Viking crossed the plate. The Vikings are set for another double header on Friday against the Brookings Bruins. It will be a home stand and pre-game begins right here on KCST at 2:45
The Viking Girls were at home against the Marshfield Pirates. Heidi Jones went 3 for 4 from the plate scoring a run. Anna Petras was 2 for 4 with an RBI and Claire Waggoner was 2 for 4 with a run. But it wasn’t enough to overcome the 15 runs from Marshfield.
Final Score 15 to 2 Bruins
