Biennial competition between UK and US this weekend
Former Reedsport Community Charter School golf standout Monica Vaughn is headed for the Curtis Cup. The biennial Curtis Cup match is considered to be the best known trophy for women amateur golfers and is contested by teams representing the U.S. and Great Britain & Ireland.
Vaughn just completed her junior year at Arizona State University where she took the year off from golf.
This year’s Curtis Cup is being played just outside Dublin, Ireland… play begins Friday.
