4-2 win keeps Eugene atop NW League
Kevonte Mitchell hit a two-RBI double in the fourth inning to put the Ems on top for good and Eugene broke a three game skid with a 4-2 win over the Tri-City Dust Devils Thursday night.
Despite the three losses, the Emeralds are still sitting atop not only the South Division, but the entire Northwest League with an 18-9 record… a game ahead of North Division leader Tri-City.
The two teams continue their five game series through Sunday at Gesa Stadium in Pasco, Washington.
