Eugene one win away from claiming first half title
A late game rally on the part of the Hillsboro Hops fell short last night and the Eugene Emeralds held on for a 6-4 win at home. The Hops committed five errors on the night, including two on one play that led to one run with two outs.
The Emeralds are just one game shy of clinching the first half title in the South Division. The two teams meet again this evening in Eugene.
