Eugene’s division title delayed at least one day
The Hillsboro Hops drew a season high 17 walks last night… including a record tying six by Northwest League walks leader Marcus Wilson on the way to downing the Eugene Emeralds 8-2 last night at PK Park in Eugene.
The loss means the Emeralds delay clinching their first-half division title. They simply need one win or at least one Hillsboro loss to do so.
They’ll have one more chance this evening in Eugene as the two teams wrap up their series.
