Sox convert on Emeralds Errors
The Everett Aqua Sox handed the Eugene Emeralds a 3-1 loss last night at PK Park. It was only the fourth series loss of the season for the Emeralds.
Everett capitalized on a wild pitch in the fourth inning to score their first run and tie it up at 1-all. Then, a throwing error in the fifth gave them the go ahead run; with another throwing error, this one in the eighth, giving them the insurance run.
The two teams meet up again this evening in Eugene where they’ll close out the series.
The Ems will have tomorrow off, then head to Keizer Friday where they’ll play a weekend series against the Volcanoes.
Fall Siuslaw Sports Passes Go On Sale
Previous Siuslaw football season tickets can renew their seats today or tomorrow at Siuslaw High School. There will only be three home games for the Vikings this year and season tickets will be $20. New season ticket buyers can pick theirs up next week.
Also on sale at the high school next week…. A $50 family pass will gain entry for all members of the immediate family to any regular season fall home football or volleyball games.
