Prep volleyball: Siuslaw wins at home; Mapleton falls to Alsea
On the volleyball court last night… Siuslaw downed Elmira 3-1 for the lady Viks second non-league win of the season. They’ll be at home again tomorrow for another non-league match… this one against Pleasant Hill.
The Mapleton Sailors fell to the Alsea Wolverines last night in three sets. They’ll host Eddyville tomorrow afternoon. That match at 3:00 due to the overnight closures on Highway 20.
Northwest League divisional playoffs get underway
The Eugene Emeralds are back on the diamond this evening at Ron Tonkin Stadium in Hillsboro for the first game of a best-of-three playoff series against the Hops.
