Here is the latest Washington, Oregon and Alaska sports news from The Associated Press

SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle’s Jimmy Graham made a pair of first-half catches for scores and the Seahawks were able to hold off a late rally by the Buffalo Bills last night in a 31-25 win. Seattle won its 11th straight Monday night game although the Bills made it close with Tyrod Taylor leading the Bills inside the Seattle 10 yard line in the game’s final seconds.

SEATTLE (AP) — The Buffalo Bills are not pleased with the officiating over the final seconds of the first half in last night’s loss in Seattle. They say the refs blew a call that appeared to cost the Bills a chance at a more manageable field goal. Buffalo would have needed a field go to tie the game in the final seconds if officials had made the unnecessary roughness call on Richard Sherman.

SEATTLE (AP) — Washington defensive end Joe Mathis is out for the rest of the season, with the Huskies saying specialists determined he needed surgery to repair a foot injury. Coach Chris Petersen says Mathis had the surgery yesterday. He had been undergoing rehab but specialists then determined surgery was the better option.

SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Mariners have dealt lefty Vidal Nuno to the Los Angeles Dodgers, getting catcher Carlos Ruiz. The teams announced the trade as the annual general managers’ meetings opened in Arizona. The Mariners also exercised their option on Ruiz for the coming season for $4.5 million.
