SEATTLE (AP) — Washington has lost linebacker Azeem Victor for the rest of the season, with Victory having surgery for a broken right leg. Huskies coach Chris Petersen says there’s no timeline for Victor’s return but the expectation is that he won’t be able to play anymore this season.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Washington State receiver River Cracraft tore his ACL and is reportedly done for the rest of the season. The senior caught three touchdown passes in the 20th-ranked Cougars’ 56-21 victory over California but went down early in the third quarter.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State wide-out Seth Collins has been hospitalized with an undisclosed ailment, according to the university. Coach Gary Anderson wouldn’t comment on Collins’ status, citing privacy issues. He started at quarterback over 7 games last season.

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Jordan Mathews scored 17 points to lead 14th-ranked Gonzaga past San Diego State 69-48 last night. The Zags held the Aztecs to 28 percent shooting on the night. Zach Collins scored 15 points and Nigel Williams-Goss added 10 for Gonzaga in the win.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) — Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Tim Howard will have surgery Thursday for the leg injury he suffered in last week’s World Cup qualifier between the U.S. and Mexico. He will miss the Rapids’ MLS conference title game against Seattle later this month.

SEATTLE (AP) — Kelsey Plum scored 26 with five 3-pointers as 17th-ranked Washington beat Colorado State 101-68 last night. The Huskies will host No. 25 Missouri on Thursday in a quarterfinal contest in the preseason WNIT.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Sydney Wiese scored 13 points and No. 24 Oregon State was able to hold Idaho State to 14 second-half points in a 61-38 win. Freshman Kat Tudor scored 12 points in the win, with Oregon State outrebounded 42-35 on the night.
