Co-Player of the year also Athlete of the Week
Siuslaw volleyball standout Makenzie York is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The sophomore middle blocker was named co-player of the year by Far West League coaches for her play at the net, leading the Vikings to the Far West League championship.
Honorable mention: Outside hitter Emma Collins. She picked up honorable mention, all league for her work on the volleyball court this season.
