Oregon leaves the islands with a 2-1 tournament record
Chris Boucher had 21 points and three blocks; Tyler Dorsey had 19 points and Oregon closed out the Maui Jim Classic in Lahaina Wednesday afternoon with a convincing 79-69 win over the U-Conn Huskies. The Ducks jumped to a big lead early, before the Huskies seemed to find their legs and battled back. But Oregon’s 11-point halftime lead held out to send the Duicks home with a 2-and-1 record from the tournament. Oregon has the next five days off before returning to Matthew Knight Arena Monday evening against Western Oregon.
