Athlete of the Week
Siuslaw basketball standout Destinie Tatum is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The senior guard averaged 13 points and 13 rebounds in three games last week, including a high of 20 points and 18 rebounds against the Newport Cubs.
Honorable mention is given to her teammate, Brittany Long who had a career high 18 points against Junction City.

The Siuslaw Vikings are at Cottage Grove High School for boys and girls non-league basketball against the Lions. The Mapleton Sailors will host the McKenzie for Mountain West League ball.
The 24th ranked Oregon Ducks are at home this evening at Matthew Knight Arena… they’ll take on Montana at seven. The pregame show on KCST gets underway at 6:30.
