Prep basketball last night…
For the boys: the Sutherlin Bulldogs downed the Siuslaw Vikings 50-34 in Florence. In Reedsport, the Viking girls doubled the Reedsport Braves 52-26. Brittany Long led with 14 points, Destinie Tatum had 12. Alyssa Richards scored ten and was a perfect four-for-four at the free throw line. She also had ten rebounds and one steal.
The Vikings have ten days off for the Christmas Break. They’ll be back on the court a week from Friday, the 30th when they travel to Corbett.
Ducks complete preseason with a win
Jordan Bell scored a career high 23 points and number 20 Oregon beat Fresno State 75-63 last night in Eugene. It was the Duck’s ninth straight win… and the 33rd straight victory at Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks finish the pre-season with an 11-2 record and will host UCLA Wednesday the 28th.
Oregon State is on Ralph Miller Court tonight in Corvallis where they’ll wrap up their preseason against the Kent State Golden Flash. The pregame show begins at 7:30 on KCFM; tip off is at eight.
