Sydney Wiese added 13 points, Breanna Brown had 10 and Marie Gulich hauled in 13 rebounds to go with nine points for Oregon State (18-2, 7-1 Pac-12), which shot 47 percent from the field and controlled the boards 48-31.
PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Chantel Osahor grabbed a Pac-12-record 30 rebounds and scored 20 points to lead No. 8 Washington to an 87-44 rout of Washington State yesterday. The national leading scorer Kelsey Plum scored 29 points for Washington (19-2, 7-1 Pac-12). She passed current member of the WNBA’s Connecticut Suns Rachel Banham for sixth place on the NCAA Division-I all-time scoring list.
EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Sabrina Ionescu had 14 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists for her third career triple-double and Oregon ran away from Utah in the second quarter to win 84-66 yesterday for its fourth win in five games. Ionescu is the seventh Duck to get a triple-double and she tied Bev Smith’s record of three triple-doubles set in 1981-82.
EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — The University of Oregon says the football co-offensive coordinator will be fired after his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, marking the latest problem for the team. The school said in a statement yesterday that David Reaves has been placed on administrative leave and the process to terminate his employment has started. Oregon announced hiring him Tuesday.
