Ems Drop Deciding Game
The Ems started out in a 5 run hole last night as the Canadians came out swinging. But it was a couple of wild pitches that also helped Vancouver to a 4 run lead in the first inning. Javiar Assad had a rough start throwing 127 pitches in just 4 innings of work. Eugene managed to score 2 runs in the 5th inning but it was all the offense they could muster. Vancouver widened the gap in the 7th with two more runs making it a 7-2 game. The Ems are back at home tonight for 2 games against the Boise Hawks. Game time at PK park is 7:05.
