Emeralds Roll
The Eugene Emeralds put together a 3 game winning streak over the weekend. On Friday the Ems finished off their series with the Hillsboro Hops with a two nothing win. Then on Saturday hosted the Everett Aqua Sox by taking a 4 zip lead after two. The Aqua Sox came within one and the game finished 4-3 for the Emerald win. Last night the Emeralds got behind 1 – nothing in the first but put together a couple of good innings in the 3rd and 4th scoring 5 to take a 5-1 lead. The Aqua Sox managed to score 2 more but didn’t have enough offense to overcome the Emeralds. Jesus Camargo put together 6 strong innings for the win allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and 8 strike outs.
