Emeralds Blanked
The emeralds left 5 runners on base last night as they battled to score a run against the Tri-City Dust Devils. The game remained scoreless after 6 ½ innings of play until the Dust Devils found the sweet spot on the bat and managed to score 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th. That was after the Emeralds pulled 19 year old pitcher Javier Assad. Assad went 6 strong innings allowing only 1 hit and striking out three. Eric Eulman gets the loss allowing 4 runs on 1 and 2/3’s innings pitched. Tri-City Scored 4 total blanking the ems. The series finishes up tonight at 7:15
