Emeralds One Game Away
The Eugene Emeralds are one game away from advancing in the Northwest league playoffs. Last night at PK Park the Emeralds were down 2-1 to the Hillsboro Hops in the bottom of the 7th when Center Fielder Zach Davis hit a line drive single scoring Jhonny Bethencourt to tie the game. Then in the bottom of the eight with runners in scoring position first baseman Gustavo Polanco hit a single to center field scoring Michael Cruz. The two team meet again tonight in Hillsboro
Volleyball on the Road
The Lady Viks are on the court tonight taking on the Billies in Pleasant Hill in a non league Volleyball match up….In Mountain West League play the Sailor girls are at home hosting the Lowell Devils, matches get underway at 6 o’clock at Mapleton High School….
