Vikings Outmanned
The Siuslaw Viking Football team struggled on both sides of the ball on Friday, but played tough against the number 1 team in the Division. The Marshfield Pirates marched onto Hans Peterson field and Scored 42 points in the first half against the Vikings on their way to a 45-12 victory. In the second half number 10 Elijah Blankenship scored a touchdown for the Vikings and they closed the evening out with 12 points.

Mapleton Mowed down Siletz Valley in 8 man football on Friday. The sailors Evan Moso Led the sailors with 11 carries for 247 yards and 5 touchdowns and Dominic Wells added 2 touchdowns on 11 carries and 163 yards. Final Score Mapleton 78 Siletz Valley 28.
XC Meet Dominated By Viking Teams
It was a beautiful day for Siuslaw Viking Cross Country at the Paul Mariman invitational in Philomath. 8 runners, four boys and four girls had personal records on the day and led the boys to a first place finish and the girls finished second. Sophomore Hannah Rannow finished 3rd overall in the 5000 meter with a personal best of 19:39.56. for the boys, Sophomore Brendon Jenson was fifth overall in the 5000 with a personal best 17:5.23. the other runners with personal bests were…for the boys…senior Isaac Griffes, sophomore Jonah Jarma, and Jordan Northrop. Oregon Teams Defeated on Gridiron
The beavers and Ducks were both unsuccessful on the gridiron over the weekend. The Beavers Falling to USC Trojans 38-10 and the Ducks lose 33-10 to the Washington State Cougars.
