Siletz Valley Takes Down Mapleton
Mapleton Sailor volleyball fell to the McKenzie Eagles last night in three straight sets, 25-15, 25-5, 25-13. They’ll be at home tomorrow for a 2 pm match against Siletz Valley.
Siuslaw Girls End Regular Season
Viking Girls finished league play last night in South Umpqua. Siuslaw was defeated in 3 sets and finished league play at 5-5. Next up will be non-league tournament play in Marshfield on Saturday.
Weekend Sporting Events
The Viking Boys will host South Umpqua this evening at Hans Peterson Field. Game coverage begins on KCST at 6:45
The Oregon Ducks are in California tomorrow to take on Stanford. The Ducks are hoping to fight back after 2 straight losses. Braxton Burmeister will once again be under center for the Ducks. Pre-game on KCST begins at 6:30 and Kick-off is at 8 pm.
For the Beavers it is homecoming weekend where they will meet the visiting Colorado Buffalos. Pre-game on KCFM is at noon and kickoff is at 1pm.
Viking Cross Country will take part in the George Fox Cross Country Classic at Willamette Mission State Park in Brooks Oregon beginning at 10 am tomorrow.
