Herbert Works Out With Offense
It hasn’t been officially announced if he will start on Saturday, but this week in practice Justin Herbert was taking snaps under center during some tight end drills. Not mentioning Herbert, coach Willie Taggart says he wants to reward the tight ends since they were so instrumental in their win last week providing blocking for their running game. They travel to Washington this week to take on the Huskies. Game time on KCST is at 5:30 and kick-off is at 7.
Beavers Head to California
The Beavers are traveling to California to take on the Golden Bears. The beavers are hoping for a repeat of last years 47-44 win at Reser Stadium. Pre game on KCFM is at 1 pm on Saturday and kick-off is at 2:07.
Cross Country Heads to State Championships
Viking Cross Country team is preparing for the OSAA 4A State Championships this Saturday. The event is being held at Lane Community College in Eugene.
