Ducks Finish Series With A Win
The Oregon Ducks were decked out in blue and white for the final game against Florida Atlantic yesterday the colors were not indicative of the thrashing they put upon the visiting Owls. The Owls took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning with a double and a triple against Starting Freshman hurler Cullen Kafka. Kafka settled in and pitched 5 and a third innings just long enough for the Ducks to get a 3 run lead and give him the win. The Ducks added 3 more in the 7th and 2 more in the 8th for a 10-4 win on 10 hits.
The Ducks begin a 4 game series against UC Davis on Thursday at PK Park.
The Beavers are on the mound today in Corvallis against the Portland Pilots. Game time is at 5:05. The Beavers are 12-0 on the season and one of five remaining undefeated teams in the nation.
PAC 12 Underway Tomorrow
The Pac Twelve Men’s Basketball Tournament at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas gets underway tomorrow with game one of the tourney at 1 o’clock. The Beavers are on the hardwood at 6 o’clock against the Washington Huskies. Pregame on KCFM is set for 5:30, the winner plays USC Thursday evening at 6 o’clock.. The Ducks play in the night cap against the Washington State Huskies. Pregame on KCST is at 8 o’clock tip off tomorrow night at 8:30. The winner plays Utah Thursday night at 8:30.
