Ducks Drop #3 Stanford
The Oregon Ducks stunned #3 ranked Stanford yesterday in the bay. Scoring 10 runs on 15 hits including 3 home runs in the 4th inning. Kenyan Yovan improves to 2-1 on the mound with a solid 6 innings pitched with 9 strike outs and only one base on balls. Beavers Fall To Utes
The Beavers were surprised on opening day with an 8-7 defeat by the Utah Utes in Salt Lake City. The Beavers Led 6-4 until the bottom of the 6th inning when Utah went ahead with a 3 run inning. Trevor Larnach did manage to excite the Beaver fans with his second Grand Slam of the season in the top of the 5th inning. Brandon Eisert gets dinged with the loss for the Beavers. Tonight’s game airs on KCFM beginning with a 4:30 pre-game and a first pitch at 5 o’clock from Smith’s Ball Park in Salt Lake City. The series closes out tomorrow with a noon first pitch, airtime is 11:30 on KCFM.
