OSAA Track and Field Championships Today and Saturday
The Siuslaw Vikings will have several athletes competing this weekend at the OSAA 4A Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene. Siuslaw will be sending 14 Far West League Champs including Brendon Jenson in the 1500 and 3000 meter races; Ryan Rendon Padilla in the Javelin; Hannah Rannow in the 800 and 3000 meters races; Brea Blankenship in the 1500 meters; Gracie Freudenthal in both the 100 and 300 meter hurdles. And the girls 4×400 relay team; and Andrea Osbon in the discus. Several Vikings will compete based on their second place finishes today and tomorrow in Eugene.
PAC 12 Baseball On The Road
Pac Twelve baseball this weekend begins with Oregon State on the road to Los Angeles to take on USC. The first of three games is this evening at 7 o’clock. Pregame on KCFM is at 6:30, Saturday’s broadcast begins at 1 o’clock, and the series wraps up with a pregame broadcast on Sunday at 11:30.
The Oregon Ducks are across town taking on the Bruins in the first of three games. This evening’s game begins at 4:30, while the series concludes Sunday.
Rhody Run
The 2018 5 and 10 Rhody Run gets underway tomorrow morning at 9am from the Florence Events Center. Race day registration opens at 7am until 8:30.
