Ems Clip Indians for Series Win

The Minor League Baseball System will be having their All-Star Game tomorrow evening which means no baseball for the Ems tonight.  Over the weekend the Eugene Emeralds managed to take a series away from the Spokane Indians.  The Ems  had 6 runs on 6 hits on Friday evening with a Grand Slam in the fourth inning by right fielder Jonathan Sierra.  On Saturday night the Indians bounced back with a 7-2 win and then last night the Ems came from behind after trailing 3-nothing.  The Ems scored one run in the 7^th, 8^th, and 9^th inning to tie it up and take it to extra innings.  Finishing off the Indians in the bottom of the 10^th with a wild pitch scoring the winning run.  The all star game will be played in Grand Junction Colorado tomorrow evening.  The Ems return to League Play on Thursday against Everett.
