Lady Vikings Finish 1st, Men 3rd at Paul Mariman Invitational

The Lady Vikings took First place at the Paul Mariman XC invitational on Saturday.  Junior Hannah Rannow and sophomore Brea Blankenship finished in the top 5 with Rannow finishing 2nd  with a time of 19:43.0 and Blankenship finishing 5th with a time of 20:08.0.   Junior’s Chloe Madden and Anne Wartnick finished out the top 10.  On the boys side Junior Brenden Jensen took a second place finish for the Vikings at the Paul Mariman Invitational on Saturday with a time of 16:58.70 and junior Jonah Jarman finished 8th with a time of 17:38.50

Vikings Still Seeking Win

Santiam Christian Defeated the Siuslaw Vikings Friday evening at Hans Petersen Filed.  It was a shut out for the visiting team until the 4th quarter when the Vikings scored on a 0ne yard touchdown run by Camp Lacouture.  The Vikings missed on the 2 point conversion.  Elijah Blankenship was 5 for 17 passing for 32 yards he also had 7 rushes for 20 yards.  The Vikings managed only 78 total yards on the game to Santiam’s 369.  Final score 32-6.

Mapleton Falls to Crow

In Volleyball on Saturday, Crow Defeated the Mapleton Sailors in three sets 25-16, 25-14, and 25-14

Beavers Tough Outing Against Cougars

The Beavers went back and forth with the Washington State Cougars on Saturday.  The beavers took the lead on the first possession of the second half to make it 30-24.  The cougars then score 28 consecutive points before the beavers got their last touchdown in the fourth.  Final score56-37 cougars.

Mapleton Falls to Lowell

Mapleton fell to the Lowell devils on Friday night 68-28 in 8 man football.
